Cheques can also be made out to Inland Refugee Society of B.C. and sent directly to #430-411 Dunsmuir Ave, Vancouver, V6B-1X4. Please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope for a tax receipt.
Refugees also need home-starting help! Your donations of basic household items are welcome:
- Kitchen stuff (pans, knives, plates, forks, cups, can openers, cutting boards, pots, glasses, other dishes, and soap, scrubbers etc)
- Cleaning supplies (irons, garbage cans, cleaning detergents, rag bundles, brooms, mops)
- Baby kits (diapers, wipers, milk-formula, gerber, car seat, strollers, cribs, ointment)
- General items (telephone, alarm clocks, mirrors)
- Bathroom Stuff (towels, soap, deodorants, toiletry kit, razor, tootpaste, tootbrush, feminine hygiene supplies)
- Bedding (pillows, sheet sets)
- Linens (dish cloths, table cloths)
- Seasonal clothing for adults and children
- Other select furniture
